Is it ok to keep a pet rabbit in a laundry room?

Edwina Fu: no

Mildred Pombo: Just keep detergents out of bunny's reach and that should be fine. I once had a large rabbit cage in the laundry room. It was raised a bit off the floor, but I made steps so that I could open the cage door and bunny could hop down to the floor. From there I could open the door from the laundry room to the family room so bunny could exercise. So your idea could work. However, I would suggest you look around my site to get some further ideas about cages, bunny proofing, etc. That rabbit I had in the laundry room in our old house was from almost 20 years ago. I've learned a lot since! Anyway, take a browse around the site and if you have more questions, just ask through the contact page there....Show more

Jimmie Doerfler: You could but it would mean you would have to clean like crazy. If it eats some of the cleaning supplies it would kill him. Literally kill him. And he needs to get some sun everyday if possible.
