Rhett Kaines: Being a preschool teacher doesn't require a degree... at least not a B.A. degree. Also the pay for being a Preschool teacher is much lower than a K-12 teacher. If you want to counsel children or adults, you will need to have a Masters degree. If you are not sure what to do, you can start out by being a teacher's aide. You wont need a lot of credentials, and it will give you some experience working with kids. You might figure out that you DO want to be a teacher, or you might discover that you want to counsel them. I personally was a high school teacher for 5 years, but I realized that I wanted to work with kids more one-on-one and counsel them. Carter Edstrom: in case you decide on it relatively undesirable, you will do it. you reside as quickly as, and it would be awsome for people to nicely known which you have been a instructor AND psychologist...it is motivating ! not purely for each individual else to be certain/know, yet for your self; you would be waiting to seem back and know which you probably did each and every thing you wanted to do, devoid of regrets.
