Can you get "drunk" from a non-alcoholic beverage?

Inell Riesgo: well monster is the best energy drink ever more flavors than red bull bigger! better! more epic!!! (So much better tasting in my opinion)

Clark Lachowski: Basically, yes. Different taste, more different flavors, bigger can, but the same dangerous energy drink.

Ervin Overbee: Yeah, it's the same kind of drink.I think that getting into the habit of drinking stuff like that at 13 isn't a good idea. I would have a talk with your son to let him know that you aren't mad but you are concerned. The drink is really just sugary, caffeinated crap...the whole "energy" thing is a ridiculous sales pitch...you don't get energy from drinking that crap....Show more

Ronny Dorge: No .. I have never had anyone offer me a non alcoholic beverage. I have liver damage from drinking too long.

Robin Weelborg: Its fine... Ever since I was in 6th grade people have been drinking monsters and I do.. I gotta four pack of them in my fridge

Janeen Perona: I was ! raised on tap water, so some bottled water tastes odd to me! I actually like the chlorine taste, I like it to taste clean. I moved out of state, the water either tastes like too much chlorine or bacteria where we were living, that was gross. Now my water is from a dif source and tastes fine.

Javier Holsonback: Its exactly the same as Red Bull, V, Mother etc. its all the same but different taste.there is a limit to how many you can have.i think for a can of 500ml is 1 per day.if you have too much you can get heart palpitations and things like that.

Darren Heling: idk at my house, all the water is filtered. we have our own well.

Terrell Voltz: the simplest way is getting a chilly dispenser added on your refrigerator or faucet. i in my opinion dont like room temp or faucet tempurature water myself and chilled tapwater tastes the comparable as bottled water to me. As for cleanliness, your city might desire to have rules for that. yet. good success on a filtrat! ion gadget if that's what youre somewhat searching for. ;)

!

Antone Youla: A suggestion is gastric reflux-The coke is too acidic for you, or maybe it is the artificial sugar in it and is irritating your stomach.Quit or lessen your intake of coke zero its not very good for your health. You should see the doctor to determine the cause:)

Caroyln Ebach: No, as long as you are having no trouble sleeping or rising, you are just fine. Studies have proven that it takes far more caffeine than what you are consuming for it to be a problem or health concern. For people with a sensitivity to caffeine, it is a whole different matter. The only problem you may face is if you cut back. Then you will have headaches, most likely, for several days. There was a study that said you needed a certain amount of liquid per day, and it did include coffee and tea, as they are made with water. Of course, pure, clean water is best, but caffeine will not harm you in moderation. What you consume falls in the guidelines of "moderate"....Show more

Jul! ee Lanham: I rarely drink coffee, maybe 5 times a month, and I drink mostly coke zero, around one maybe two a day. But this last week, it seems like at some point in the day after having a caffeinated beverage, i get mild to moderate nausea. Any ways to fix this, or ideas as to why it is happening?

Pattie Vold: Too much caffeine can give you a headache.

Kenneth Blacker: No.

Josefine Weekey: Actually you can! *gasp "no way!"*. But not exactly and not from the contents of the drink. This happens to some athletes from time to time. When you drink too much water, you can start to get tired, lose feeling in parts of your body and it can effect your thinking, but no, you do not get dizzy or woozy.

Virgil Menefee: Stop drink anything make you ill, is that simple, I not drink coffee or Coca Cola, too much caffeine.

Caleb Chapman: Nope not at all.

Bo Perham: you get drunk from alcohol.... no alcohol=no drunk

Felicitas Phildor: the least comp! licated way is getting a chilly dispenser further on your refrigerator ! or faucet. i individually dont like room temp or faucet tempurature water myself and chilled tapwater tastes comparable to bottled water to me. As for cleanliness, your city could desire to have regulations for that. yet. solid success on a filtration gadget if that's what youre fairly finding for. ;)

Jonathon Labonne: You can get a buzz from too much sugar or caffine, but usually it is not judgement-imparing.

Leif Andreason: I sometimes think i'm drunk when I drink alot of pop (Soda)

Stevie Goldey: Basically .There Both Enerqy Drink`s .

Violette Vanek: Nooooooo... unless someone slipped you a mickey.

Veta Slicker: Both coffee and soda are known for their acidity. So I'm with the person on here who mentioned Acid Reflux. Try drinking Diet 7 Up or Sprite, instead of Coke Zero. Coke is known for it's high acidic level. And try drink dark roast coffee. The darker the roast, the less acidic it will be. That is why people prone to heart burn and aci! d reflux drink Dark Roasted Coffee.

Elden Bardach: No. Even if something started to ferment then it would have alcohol in it.Now people do have different reactions to different things. Some need quite a bit of caffeine to get going and some are real jumpy and jittery with just the slightest amount. Maybe a particular ingredient may have an affect on you or someone else that it does not have on others but that does not mean you are drunk.Too much caffeine will have the opposite effect. Caffeine dehydrates. If you are dehydrated you will feel tired and lethargic. It is our body's way of trying to keep from over working and overheating. Try 2 glasses of water and watch the improvement if this happens....Show more

Barton Morfee: My 13 year old son started drinking this with his friends. Should I be concerned? I've had Red Bull in the past but I didn't think they sold energy drinks to kids. Is Monster the same as Red Bull?

Heidy Fujikake: I'm not a fan of ta! p water as well, can't do it without adding something to adjust the tas! te like cordial. One of those odd quirks I guess

Hugo Pittari: You wont get "drunk" but the amount of sugar in those energy drinks is enough to make you feel like a crack fiend. You dont feel lazy or sluggish like when you've had too many screwdrivers, but you definitely feel super-hero-ish after 1 or 2 Red Bulls...

Abby Herwood: Yes. or at least you'll feel like it. My mom was a bartender and she would make the alcoholic drinks silly young woman ordered without alcohol because it was so funny when they would start acting drunk and stuff just because they THOUGHT they had alcohol

Freddy Shutler: Monster is fine. I'm 13 and I drink it...tell him to get the orange kind XD

Otto Lingafelt: Many kids his age (and mine, I'm 13 but I don't drink it) drink Monster. It's not harmful for you, as long as you don't have too much. So you shouldn't be too concerned.

Andra Oger: Probably too much caffeine, try switching to a caffeine free soda or decaf coffee! .

Hunter Beech: I did an experiment. I put some tap water in the fridge, and some filtered water in the fridge (from one of those faucet filter thingys). I drank both on a hot day. The tap water tasted like chlorine pool water. The filtered water tasted good. Now that I have stopped drinking tap water, the chlorine taste just jumps out at me. Why is the chlorine taste not obvious to most people?
