Mauro Cowee: Watching tennis could be considered a hobby, playing it would be more practicing a sport. Reading is a hobby.I knit mostly and crochet. I also draw, paint, cook, bake, decorate cakes, and play piano. I used to do embroidery by hand but my fingers got so sore from doing it (even with a thimble), I don't do it so much any more. I'm also learning how to sew quilts on a machine. Some people like collecting things like coins, sea shells or stamps, doing scrap book pages, photography, bird watching, there's a million things you can do for a hobby....Show more
Lindsey Zanardi: no, they are wonderful and warm. I take two pieces of fleece and then at the edge of them, i tie it. first i cut out a 4 inch corner on each 4 corners and then i make a slit down the side of the blanket which are about 2 inches apart from each other and then i take the top and bottom and tie them together. they are really fun to make.
Shaun Rapkowicz: You may want to consider ! a micro suede. It has good body and will have a good life span! . I like to use lite colors for linings, it helps to find things at the bottom. ( black is the worst lining for finding "stuff" that has gone into the black hole)
Mauro Cowee: http://www.softexpressions.com/help/faq/FAQphototr...Why don't you just make a quilt from the photo transfers sheets and then back it with fleece?Sew the "blocks" together and borders if necessary to get the finished size needed for the blanket.Lay the "quilt" face down on the fleece and stitch around the edges. Leave an opening of 8" on one side. Turn inside out and press with a warm iron. Hand stitch the opening closed.Addendum: I just tried transfer paper to fleece and it worked, but feels "bumpy".I used Transfer Magic Inkjet Transfer Paper and followed the instructions inside the package. The fleece was an inexpensive piece from either Walmart or JoAnn.If you try this and you do not like how it looks, cover it with the photo transfer fabric sheets....Show more
Darrin Hixenbaugh: I! would print the image directly onto the fabric but that might get more involved than you want. If I am unsure of a design I make it first in doll size. Maybe you could make a mini version of your idea to give some tangible feedback as to how it would look. You might also want to consider that men are far less interested in color and pattern...as a general rule...than women...unless the pattern you are thinking has some sentimental value, maybe just forget about it.Good luck either way and what a lucky BF!...Show more
Krystal Cordovano: I would use a heavy broadcloth or a really nice lightweight upholstery fabric. That way you have something pretty to look at and it can take the wear and tear of heavy use. Good luck

Alma Twomey: VIDEO GAMES!
Tana Dumoulin: I think, depending on the image, if you ironed the image onto white cotton then cut out the image and appliqued it on to the fleece might work better. Applique is basically taking the cutout image then sewing around only the edges. I'd try one square just to see how it looked.
Cletus Makler: My favorite thing to do is to....Play video gamesPlay sportsSpend time with familyEverything you said about tennis and reading is a hobby, so even if you don't always read books and stuff, doesn't mean that its not a hobby, find something that you are passionate about, like as you said, you like tennis, go out there and join a tennis te! am or even play with a friend or family member.Hope I've helped you :)...Show more
Timmy Bustard: I had my ears modified. It was the best decision of my life. I encourage you to do at LEAST five years of.research before doing it,because once you modify them, you can't go back. The pain wasn't bad. I just took some Tylonol and I was fine. I had one of those neck pillows so that I wouldn't have to sleep on my ears. The worst part was the irltching. Once it starts to heal, it itches SOOOO bad, but its worth it in the end. I got my ears folded and seuchered, so they didn't carve anything off. They just basically cut it, folded it, and seuchered it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me about it anytime. :)...Show more
Abel Adger: I recently felted a knitted bag and want to know what kind of fabric would be best to line it. I don't think I want to use a cotton print because it is too thin. I want something a little more sturdy and something that can take a l! ot of wear and tear and heavy objects.
Stanton Valdivia: If you ! sew, cut the cotton and fleece squares all the same size. Sew them together in a patchwork piece. Add a plain color fleece backing. If you don't think you sew enough for that, sew the cotton squares to the fleece and then outline each one in fabric paint or sewn-on ribbon. You have to do something on the edges if you sew a pattern of squares on top of other fabric....Show more
Sol Allphin: I wanted to make my boyfriend a no sew fleece blanket for his birthday. I cant find any fleece material with the pattern I want on it so I wanted to do something with iron on transfers. Since you cant use iron on transfers on fleece do you think it would still look ok if I ironed the transfer onto a cotton square and just sewed it onto the fleece. I was going to use a number of the same iron on transfers and have it look like a checkered quilt pattern. So it would look like cotton square with a iron on transfer then fleece square then another cotton square with iron transfer the! n fleece square etc. Would that look dumb? Can you give me any better ideas?...Show more

Cherry Stampka: Sapient said that the "elf ear" surgery range! s from "regrettable", to "really, really bad". Notice that there's not! hing good in between those two things, which is unbelievably surprising, because I would naturally assume that modifying your body so that you have "elf ears" would be HIGHLY rewarding to everyone who had the notion to dive into such permanent disfiguration ...
Lino Cawthorne: Body mods should be considered permanent. That is, it might not be possible to have more surgery to put your body back the way it was. There's no way that I can tell you how painful it will or won't be for you. It depends on your own personal pain threshold, and the exact procedure that you have done. Have you ever had any surgery before? Not just tooth extractions, or mole or wart removal, but some sort of surgery that involves anesthesia and stitches. If you have, are you a fast healer or a slow healer? Do you form keloids? If you do, how badly?Frequently, body mod surgeries don't come out exactly the way that the patient and surgeon planned. In your case, the doctor would have to remov! e and reshape cartilage, which might or might not work. And again, this isn't something that can be easily reversed.I've seen plenty of people who have had elf ear surgery. The results range from regrettable to really, really bad. I've never seen a good elf ear mod, and I go to fantasy/science fiction conventions.Get a pair of latex elf ears, and wear them. They are cheaper than surgery, and you can pass for normal when you need to. Having a visible body mod will severely restrict your job prospects in just about any field. You will find it just about impossible to hold any sort of job, unless you can cover up your modded ears....Show more
