Directions to Fort Dix from Brooklyn by public transportation?

Hermina Ketring: You may want to contact your recruiter or your unit you are drilling with to see if you can carpool. While not a great distance away, it'll take quite a while to take any form of public transportation there if it can even get you to the post. You'd need to take any bus/subway and connect to NJ Transit. I'm not even sure that'd drop you off on the post and then you'd have to get to wherever your drill meets on the post.Greyhound does not appear to have it as a stop on it's schedules.I grew up in Brooklyn but never had reason to look at travelling to Ft Dix....Show more

Shawn Lelis: You can book an airplane (not recommended but you probably could) or go to the greyhound bus website and check them out. They have busses that go all over the country so you might be able to hitch a ride. Those would be my top two suggestions. Also, when you get there make sure your unit admin fills out a Travel Voucher for you. I can't remember the form number, but your a! dmin will! Once filled out it should reimburse you for your bus/plane ticket.Drills just rock don't they :)...Show more
