Hunter Osterberger: Look in your owner's manual for the maintenance schedule and it should list the items that need to be checked. All cars differ a little in what's required. Filters, belts, spark plugs, ignition cap, rotor and wires are all things that should be changed. Some newer cars are able to run 100k miles without a "tune-up" so check that schedule to see what's needed.
