Is it worth it to take a better job if it means a (way) longer commute?

Annabell Bevier: If you took a better job. I think the best thing you could do is move closer to it. I don't think a long commute is worth it because you have the cost of getting there and back and then the cost of food since you cant just go home to grab something you will have to eat out.

Tana Dumoulin: I should have mentioned that relocating is not an option right now. We like the area we live and don't want to uproot the kids from their schools.

Use the mpg of your car to find what this will cost you per day, then week. Finally, over a year. Then think about wear and tear on your vehicle..
